Hello Great Falls Families,

Great Falls has been working incredibly hard to get the school ready for our reopening in the Hybrid (Yellow) model. We are confident that the reopening is going to be a positive one. We are all really looking forward to seeing our students!

K-5 students will begin on Tuesday, September 8th in the yellow model which means a mix (hybrid model) of in-person instruction and at-home learning. We have communicated with families the A and B assignments for on-campus learning with “A” attending on Mondays and Wednesdays and “B” attending on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Fridays will be designated for virtual student support, intervention, and/or enrichment as needed along with staff development. The class sizes on each respective day will be no more than 11 students.

The one change to this would be if a holiday falls on a Monday (like on 9/7). In that case, Group A attends school on campus on Friday. Hopefully, the 2020-2021 Elementary School Colored Calendar will help in your planning throughout the year. This calendar is marked with the “A” and “B” schedules as well as with the colors that will align with your child’s creative arts session for that particular day.

Families of students that signed up for the remote learning option will be receiving information soon regarding a class schedule and contact teacher. We are using Exact Path to support remote learning.

We will conduct our Kindergarten screening appointments on Monday, August 31st as planned. Notification of the kindergarten teacher placements will occur through email on Thursday, September 3rd.

An important reminder that every student and family needs to read the Return to School Guidelines and print and sign the last page acknowledging that they understand and agree to comply with the safety guidelines. If you prefer to do this electronically instead you may click here and fill out the Google Form. This electronic confirmation will replace the printed signature page.

To help with your back to school shopping, we are including the grade level supply lists below. Please remember that purchasing any of the items listed is optional. Great Falls will make sure that all students have the supplies they need to fully participate in their on-campus educational programming.
