April Family Update

Dear Great Falls Families,

Happy April! 🌷☀️As we head into this stretch of the school year, we have many exciting events, celebrations, and important dates ahead. Spring is always a busy and joyful time at Great Falls, and we are looking forward to all that is to come for our students, staff, and families.
Please take a moment to review some important upcoming dates and reminders for April, as well as several end-of-year events to keep on your radar.

Our spring NWEA assessment window will take place from April 27 to May 29.
During this time:
Grades K–2 will complete the NWEA MAP Growth Reading and Math Assessments
Grades 3–5 will complete the NWEA/MEA Through-Year Reading and Math Assessments
These assessments help us better understand student growth and guide instruction as we finish out the school year. Thank you for helping your child arrive at school rested and ready to do their best!

Thursday, April 16: Around the World Family Night, 5:00–6:30 p.m.
We hope you will join us for this special evening of learning, celebration, and community!
April 20–24: Spring Break; There will be no school during this week. We hope your family enjoys a restful and fun vacation!
Wednesday, April 29: School Committee Meeting, 7:00 p.m. at Great Falls: All are welcome to attend.
